Its been so long can't remember the set list. The only thing I remember is I believe Bill Vitt is on drums, and he is playing particularly heavier than usual and he punches in during the part "don't you see that its true".

I'm having a tough time phrasing this so that it doesn't sound obnoxious and know it all-y but Bill Vitt actually never played TLEO. He drummed with Jerry during the Jerry and Merle period but they didn't play TLEO at that time. Maybe you're thinking of Ron Tutt?

"Maybe you're thinking of Ron Tutt?"

Why, sir, you must mean this Ron Tutt, Phlesh:

A driving force of the TCB band.

And JGB:

I wasn't aware of that thnx. It very well could have been Tutt. I also remember now a long and sweet Reuben and Cherise on it. It had to be 80's JGB, but man sorry I don't have more to go on. Those drums were definitely different than any other TLEO I've heard, and i've heard a lot. The drums were super punchy. heavy snare

First off thanks. I still haven't tracked it down though. Anyway, how did you generate that list? And, I think shining star was in it.

After going through the list the drummer I'm pretty sure is David Kemper. Although I haven't found it yet. If the list is complete it could be 9-16-84, 10-07-85, or 5-30-85. Where else could I find these shows? Cuz I can't seem to find them here or sugarmegs.

Vitt did play with Garcia and Saunders at Keystone in the wee 70s, however he did not play with JGB as you mention...
